Presenting, me at Hongkong airport.

So, my family and I just got back from our so-called “vacation” in Dubai four or three days ago. I didn’t even feel that it was a vacay because my parents were so busy cleaning the apartment, packing stuff, etc. Heck, we didn’t even go to a resort or to the beach. But I was thankful that we got to roam around the totes fabulous city a little bit since they quit their job (That’s the reason why they are staying here in the Philippines for good, oh, and we have a house there that is almost done so it’s cool.) I also got the chance to buy an awful lot of clothes, shoes, and accessories, and some of them I got from a store that sells designer brands like Dolce and Gabbana for unbelievable discounts like 70% off plus!! Too bad they don’t have a lot of stuff that I like, so I just bought a silk shirt and a pair of shoes.

We took a 7-hour flight to Hongkong via Cathay Pacific. The food there was great, but let me tell you this: The seats in the economy class there are super uncomfortable. You may try to toss yourself around into different positions and you will eventually find out that the only thing that’s left for you to do is to lift your feet and put it in the lap of the passenger next to you. Yeah, I did that, but only because it was my dad who’s next to me, not some complete stranger. So, if you’re planning to fly Cathay, bring a lot of pillows, and probably some sleeping masks.

After 7 hours of torment, we finally arrived at the Hongkong Airport. Since our next flight back to Manila was after five hours, we managed to roam around and rest for a little while, hence the video above. Then after five hours of waiting, we entered the gate and got in the same airplane and flew for only an hour until we arrived in the Philippines. Yay!

So, yeah, I’m back bitches. Missed yah xx

Song Cover of the Week!

I’m gonna do stuff like this frequently because I am starting to like undiscovered talent. They are different from artists of the music industry today.

I heard this song when I was on the airplane last Thursday, April 12, 2012. I was so bored and almost everybody around me was asleep and, like, snoring so I browsed through the list of songs there and I found this song called “Born To Die” by Lana Del Rey. I have heard about this song awhile back but I didn’t have time to listen to it so that moment on the airplane’s the chance to listen to it. At first, I was like “Mehhh”. but then I was like jamming to it. Del Rey’s voice is soothing, but a not-so-boring type of soothing.

So, the video above is the cover of Born To Die by Eli Lieb. I agree with the top comment of the video. I love it when he sings the “Come and take a walk in the wild side, let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain, you like your girls insane” part. Amazing :)
