Kairita gagi lagi pang pa-cute. I swear, kapag nag-gwiyomi tong babaeng to, i-uunfriend ko na siya.
Sometimes, it’s good to break out of your shell and try something new for a change. Like me, I’m all out for improvement in all of the aspects of life.
So last Wednesday, I decided to get a haircut! I was really itching to get a haircut, I mean literally itching because my hair is touching my earlobes and neck but I can’t find the time to do so. But then, it was the Feast of the Black Nazarene that day (And also we didn’t have classes because of the expected blockage of the roads due to the feast), so I grasped the opportunity!
Hooray for changes!
How about you? What have you decided to change this year? Let’s talk about it here. :)
I decided not to attend my classes because my parents think I have swollen feet so I began thinking that what they’re saying is real. In other words, I was lazy. May report pa naman kami sa Art History na [medyo] pinag-hirapan ko, and I’m a bit terrified that I might not cope up with my Logic lectures because my professor said that if I missed even one class, I can’t catch up anymore. Creys.
As usual, na-late nanaman ako sa pagpasok. Mga 5:30 nako nagising pero dapat 4 gising nako. Nakakatamad kasi talaga bumangon kapag Monday eh, tapos ako pa yung tipong chillax lang kahit late na or gugunaw na yung mundo, pwera nalang kung may parusa, dun na talaga ako magtatransform ng “The Flash” mode. Hahaha! So yun nga, na-late ako, pero wala namang care yung prof namin sa ADPRAC, which is Introduction to Marketing nga pala, so habang may sinusulat siya sa board, dinalian kong pumasok at umupo para di halatang late ako. Tas nun, diniscuss niya yung nakasulat sa board which is yung first assignment namin sa kanya, which is to evaluate 10 different television commercials at kung anu-ano pang keme. So, bahala nako kung ano man gagawin ko dun, pero I got an idea na kung pano gawin, siyempre. Ginaganahan kasi akong makinig nun eh kasi kailangan kong bumawi sa grades kasi GWA ko nung first sem ay 2.3 so ang panget naman nyan sa permanent record ko kaya ngayon pa lang, kailangan ko na effort-an yan mga gagawin kong ka-kemehan.
By the way, si Sir *kemeng mahabang pangalan* Araw nga pala yung prof namin ngayon sa MAT 2.
IRRELEVANT TO THIS TEXT POST:
Well, at least walang pasok, thank God. Rest well, sexy bitches! Good morning to you :)

In harmony with the oblivious weather since Friday, me and my body are too lazy to move about, even around the house. And I have a good reason why: I got the flu. Yeah, the normal “sipon at ubo” combo. Even though my body temperature’s not that high, I’m still too lazy to move, because my body aches due to *insert reason here* (I cannot say the reason because of reasons. Reasonception.) I’m gradually feeling better tho, with the help of oranges, herbal medicines, and Strepsils.
Anyways, I heard that Bagyong “Ferdie” is now moving to the South China Sea. Funny, actually, it was coincidentally named after a friend of a friend. Still, that storm was a pain in the ass. (I was supposed to go to UST for a reason I can’t blurt out and then I suddenly stopped at City Hall and got stranded because of the flood so I just went home instead.)
Good thing the rain’s not that heavy today, compared to yesterday when the raindrops are as heavy as rice or something.
Officially reading Catching Fire today.
Yeah, I know it’s been a long time since I finished the first book. Just so you know, I immediately ran to a bookstore after I finished THG to find the second book. I was like “I’m done with the first book. I am hungry for the second. I want to know more!!!”. So, yeah, when I got to the bookstore, they said they have Catching Fire and I was like “Yes!” but then they said it was the paper-bound version of the book (Insert disappointment here). So, being the picky reader that I am, I didn’t buy it because I want the hard-bound cover version of Catching Fire.
But then, around November or December last year, I told my older brother’s girlfriend (Yeah, we’re that close) that I want that book. Being the bookworm that she is, she said yes, but the disappointing thing is that she still haven’t gave it to me. So I got impatient and bought my own hardbound Catching Fire book at Fully Booked at MOA.
So, yeah, I bought it. Let the emotional rollercoaster begin!
that being an advertising student is really hard, with all the plates and everything, but if you love what you’re doing, and you’re really passionate about it, it will seem like it’s easy.
A piece of advice for the Seniors: choose your college programs wisely. You do not want to end up wasting money and having a job that you don’t want. Trust me.
Since it’s Sunday, we went to hear mass at St. Mary’s Church. The weather here in Dubai has been so cold. Unpredictable, really. Usually it’s humid and stufling hot. Oh well, I guess weather patterns have changed.
I really thought that there were a few people that would attend that mass because there’s like, nobody outside, but when I entered the church, it was a full house. Luckily, we had seats. And it was air-conditioned inside so I felt extra cold.
After the mass, we rode a train to the Dubai Mall, and ate lunch at the Noodle Factory. I ordered the Nasi Goreng. I didn’t expect it to be spicy, so I didn’t finish it. Too bad, it was super delicious!
Then, I roamed around the mall, and bought a few items at Topman and a wayfarer at a stall somewhere else :)

Thifted wayfarers! Because The real ones are hard to find + expensive + *insert reasons here* Mehhhhh
Espadrilles with “Ibiza” prints! I am so loving them.

Yeah, then after shopping, the four of us rode the bus + the train. On our way home, we got caught jaywalking. Yeah, I know, I didn’t see that coming. Stupid! We didn’t even know there were policemen there (because they were not wearing their uniform and shit). Luckily, we didn’t have our, like, I.D or s/t so only my parents’ I.D’s were taken. Sadly, they have to pay 400 AED. 200 AED each. Tear :’(
So, yeah. We went to church, went shopping, and got caught jaywalking. Such a fun Sunday. #sarcasm
